The Subaccount management panel allows you to assign your named licenses to the individual users that will be accessing the service. This guide will show you how.
The Subaccount panel allows you to:
- Add a Subaccount
- Manage Existing Subaccounts
Adding a Subaccount
Accessing the Subaccount Panel
- Login to crossbrowsertesting.com and click your email address at the top of the app.
- Click the Add Team Member button.
Registering a new subaccount
- Enter their email and add click the plus button.
- Click the Send Invites button.
This dialog box allows you to register a new account on CrossBrowserTesting.com and then automatically adds it as a subaccount.
Once the subaccount has been created, you will be returned to the Account page where you will see the Subaccount has been added to your panel.
Managing Existing Subaccounts
The master account holder has the ability to log in as any of their subaccounts and review all tests run, usage history, and test results. To do this, simply locate the user in the Subaccount panel and click the ‘Login as’ link for that user. You will not be prompted for their password.
NOTE: As this logs you in as that user, you will need to log out and log back in as the master account holder to access the master account.
Deactivate/Re-Activate a Subaccount
You may deactivate an account that is no longer using the service. This will prevent that user from being able to run any tests and will free up a named license that can then be assigned to a new user.
